TOURNAMENT BRACKETS
The number of brackets will be determined based on the number of registrants and their appropriate levels.
Brackets will range between draw sizes of 16 or 32 players.
Bracket examples:
Open: Mens and Womens (4.0 +)
"A" Division: Mens and Womens (3.5 - 4.0)
"B" Division: Mens and Womens (3.0 - 3.5)
"C" Division: Mens and Womens (2.0 - 3.0)
Beginner Division (1.0 - 1.5)
All participants will be placed into appropriate brackets after registration has closed.
Players' bracket placement will be determined based on the following criteria:
1. NTRP Rating
2. Ladder Standing and Results
3. Coaches' Committee
Seedings for each bracket will be determined by ladder results and coaches' committee.
All other placements will be drawn at random.
TOURNAMENT DATES
The tournament will start on Thursday, November 11th, and will conclude on Saturday, December 11th.
Tournament matches will be scheduled weekly Thursday - Sunday, during the tournament time frame.
All players are expected to be available for their scheduled match times*.
*Please indicate in your registration email if you have any time or day restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
All brackets will be single elimination, with no consolation.
Match format will be an 8-game pro set. First plater to win 8 games, by a margin of 2 (ex. 8-6).
In the event a match is tied at 7-7, a 7-point tiebreaker will be played.
The finals for each bracket will play best of 3 sets, with full ad scoring.
ADDITIONAL MATCH RULES
Players must provide a new can of balls for every match played, with the winning player receiving the new, unopened can afterwards.
Warm up for matches will be a maximum of 5-10 minutes.
Players should arrive 15-minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
A player arriving 15-minutes late to their scheduled match time, will be defaulted, and will subsequently lose the match.
FINALS DAY
The finals of each bracket is scheduled for Saturday, December 11th. We encourage all Members to come out and support our 10XTO Winter Club Championship Finalists.
